New York Alfred a Knopf 1946 First Edition Hard Cover Good Fair Signed by Author
Inscribed by Weiskopf on front end paper. The recipient's name has been partially scrapped away. There is a yellowed band of tape around the dustjacket (possibly was previously holding mylar?). The yellowed tape leaves marks on the endpapers of the book. The boards are sunned on the edges. The jacket is also soiled and edgeworn with a large chip missing from the top of the spine. 432 pgs.
