Previous owner's name (with 1940 date) on front end paper. Interior is otherwise clean and complete with no marks. Chanler Chapman was the son of author and literary critic John Jay Chapman. This is his only book and was a well recieved memoir about mischievous boarding school experience. Chapman, an outspoken eccentric, was the basis for the character of Henderson in Saul Bellow's early book "Henderson the Rain King". 153 pgs. Price:
